External I/O modules

These units are part of the modular design initiative that enable our Sedomat controllers to operate using either their own I/O, remote I/O or an optimization of the two. These peripheral modules connect to the controllers using a PROFIBUS DP interface and offer both digital and analogue inputs and outputs. Both the Profi 16 and 32 were specialy designed fo the automation of textile finishing machines and are compatible with modules from other suppliers.

Profibus DP:

PROFIBUS DP is a world wide accepted standard field bus for the connection of inputs, outputs, frequency inverters, PLC components, sensors, valves, remote displays etc. This standard industry bus has been chosen as part of our open connectivity strategy. The field bus concept significantly reduces the panel building overhead by eliminating a large part of the wiring. World wide, thousands of PROFIBUS DP ready peripherals are available so providing an enormous choice of components. This flexibility and freedom of choice will have a positive effect on performance and price of the machine automation. The PROFIBUS DP field bus is supported by Siemens, Klöckner Moeller, Mitsubishi, Matsushita, Allen-Bradley, Omron, Weidmüller, Wago, Lenze, KEB, Hitachi, Festo, Parker, etc.

CORDUROY BLADE SHARPENING Description: CORDUROY BLADES SHARPENING MACHINE; The AFFI X model machine is used to grind and to sharp knives for cutting corduroy fabrics; Two special hard diamond-coated grinding wheels turn at high speed to obtain an excellent knife sharpness. The fine adjustment of the contact on the knife is done by the means of centesimal positioning screws and a pneumatic system will perform a cycle in steps. CORDUROY DRY BRUSHING Description: New Dry bushing machine ANR2 for dry processsing brushing. This machine can brush all kind of corduroy fabrics, special cross brush belts are installed at the bottom and rotary brushes are on top of the machine. Suction unit, suck away the waste produced by the brushes. Dry brushing. The dry brush is usually done when a final combing effect is required from customers who want to present the product with an appearance of high quality in elegant and regular form. Many customers wants a tumbler finishing effect, where a ruffled appearance is done, in this case the dry brushing is not required.

CORDUROY WET BRUSHING Description: Corduroy wet brushing machine. This machine can brush all kind of corduroy, special cross brushes belts are installed at the bottom and rotary brushes are in the top of the machine; Spring water system let's to wet the fabrics constantly during the process. The water is recycled by an automatic filter unit. WET BRUSHING. To develop a good quality corduroy, the wet brushing is the most important step in all corduroy finishing process. The aim of this cylinder is the cleaning of the reasing cylinder. With this new brush typology it has been possible to insert the simple interchangeability of the damaged brush plates, by reducing in a satisfactory way the stop of the machine and, in the meanwhile, it has been inserted a new support concept in alveolar aluminium that reduces notably the mass in rotation.

CYLINDER BRUSH FOR WOOL CARDING

Description

The aim of the carding is to realize the fibres separation, by releasing them from the impurities still present and by completing the opening and the cleaning started in the previous passages. The cylinder has to keep clean the carding rolls during the working process
